Don't miss the best weekend of the year for high school students. MyLife is InsideOut's local weekend retreat happening January 17th-19th, 2025. Registration opens December 1st, 2024.
Q: What does the cost include?
A: The cost of MyLife includes meals, outings, a t-shirt, as well as session and small group materials.
Q: If I have questions before or during the event, who can I contact?
A: If you have any questions about MyLife you can email insideout@npaustin.com. We also will have an emergency contact whose name and number will be provided to all parents who register before MyLife Weekend.
Q: When is MyLife 2025?
A: MyLife weekend is January 17-19th. When you register you are signing your student up to be a part of the whole weekend (Friday Night to Sunday Morning). We will release a schedule on this website closer to the event.
Q: What is a small group?
A: A small group is a group of students who are in the same grade and are the same gender. At InsideOut we value the importance of community, and there is no place a student can grow more in their life and faith then through the context of a small group, that's why MyLife weekend is the best weekend of the year, because it's a whole weekend designed for the strength and bonding of groups.
Q: What if MyLife is the first time my student is a part of anything InsideOut related, how will I know whose small group they are in?
A: If your student got invited by a friend who is in their grade and is their gender, then we will honor your student to be a part of their friends small group. If your student got invited by someone else or if you have signed them up on your own accord, we will place them in a small group that mostly attends their school so they can make connections with friends at IO and at school as well.
Q: How will I know details of what is happening throughout the weekend?
A: Parents will be informed on where their students host home is, as well as where students are going on their outing and service project on Saturday afternoon of MyLife weekend the week leading up to the event. All adults who are staying in a host home, whether that be the parents who graciously opened up their home or the small group leaders, must have a clear background check for students to stay there over the weekend.
