Hill Country Community Ministries

Serving those in need

The mission of HCCM is to provide food, clothing and other assistance for people in crisis and those living in poverty in southwest Williamson and northwest Travis counties. Our goal is to serve our clients with dignity and compassion in an atmosphere of neighbor helping neighbor.

Did You know?

Every night, HCCM visits 30 area Starbucks stores to rescue end-of-day, edible foods that the store would instead discard. These items are redistributed to our Food Pantry clients, other local pantries, and ACC Cypress Creek students in need. In 2017, over 24,000 pounds were rescued. In 2018, we expect to rescue at least 60,000 pounds of food. Learn more about HCCM here.

"My family and I have been to volunteer and enjoyed it very much.  The facility is very well run and the staff was great.  The kids really felt like they were making a difference and could physically see progress throughout the day.  We plan to make it a regular occurrence – we want to get there once a month."
