Urgent Needs

  • Prepare and serve meals in the community kitchen. Volunteer shifts are available Monday-Fridays from 9:00am-1:30pm. Must be 12+ to volunteer.
  • Put together Welcome Home Baskets. Most people Caritas of Austin serves have nothing to fill an apartment with when moving in, but you can change that. Help give them the gift of “Welcome Home” by donating a basket filled with household essentials for move-in day. Here's an easy-to-shop Amazon list for affordable options! Of course, feel free to shop with your group at our local stores, too.

Ongoing Needs

  • Donation drives. Find a list of needed items here.
  • Host a community event. Find more info here.
"I had a great experience serving with the ladies in my group. We got to know each other better and grew closer together. Caritas is a well-known, reputable charity that made it easy for people to contribute to."
